Lewisham College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Coach to join a passionate team that supports students to achieve.

You will effectively coach students to address specific needs such as study support, emotional wellbeing, finance and literacy and/or numeracy and be confident providing tailored one to one, group or whole class support.

As the successful candidate, you will be an enthusiastic and adaptable person, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to inclusive education. You will have a minimum of Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent and be able to work flexibly between our 2 campuses. Your duties will including the following:

1) Supervision of study programme and adult (19+) English and Maths classes 

2) In class support for identified learners with behavioural issues and poor attendance 

3) Separate one to one/small group intervention classes for identified learners 

4). Weekly initial assessments for adult applicants, in year enrolments and record keeping for potential enrolments 

5) Administrative duties including learner contact, updating college systems and liaisons with other departments and more
